WHAT’S ON

Where?

Welbourn, Lincolnshire

BanterFest takes place in the beautiful historic village of Welbourn, which lies 13 miles South of the cathedral city of Lincoln and 15 minutes from the A1 at Newark. The village dates back to pre-Domesday times, boasts a medieval castle site, a lovely 12th-14th Century church, a friendly village pub, local shop and a duck pond!

Nearby walks take in the Viking Way, the Roman Ermine Street road and a surviving publicly accessible Knights Templar Tower along with serene rural countryside and, of course, the renowned Lincolnshire skies.

The hub of BanterFest is at the Village Hall, a great venue with separate spaces for concerts/dances and for bar/sessions. Camping is on-site on the spacious, flat playing field adjacent to the hall with 24hr toilet and shower facilities available. The whole site and hall are fully accessible and there is wifi available.
